Damn cloud cover

Since it was not raining when I got home from work, I went out for a short jaunt around the neighborhood. I ran 5 miles in 52:33 minutes. I was hoping to track the total lunar eclipse but Mother Nature was being less than cooperative. Even though it wasn't super cloudy, there was a patch of dense cloud cover that happened to be right where the moon was rising. Hmph. There were more people out than usual. I ran past a man on his porch playing a fiddle? A violin? Let's just say he was playing a string instrument that was not a guitar. I suspect he was playing to the moon. I wish he had played a little more seductively. Perhaps then Mistress Moon wouldn't have been so secretive behind her cloud coverings.

The hip was being amenable. I went to the chiropractor today and she wants me to see her again on Friday for an additional adjustment. She showed me why my hip may be acting wonky by demonstrating the mechanics of it using her plastic spine model. That was educational. It won't stop me from running though.
